It’s my immense pleasure to be acquainted as a product of Pokhara University since this university has been an incredible boon of my lifetime which has offered me various impressive opportunities. I not only thank Pokhara University which conferred me a notable platform for the wonderful period of my life, but also thank it for imparting me a favorable environment to shape my career goal with the blend of good character and the expansion of knowledge. Besides, this university turned out to be my best milestone for further study from where I became successful to reach at the pinnacle of success even by staying at home. Dipendra Sharma completed his Bachelors in Business Administration from School of Business, Pokhara University. He is currently working as Chief of Provincial office(Gandaki Province) at NIC Asia Bank.
When there were only two universities in Nepal during my PCL studies, I dreamt of a new university in Pokhara. Thanks to the Nepal parliament, Pokhara University (PU) was established when I was looking for higher studies in management. For this excitement, I quit an offer for the scholarship at MBA in a reputed university and joined Pokhara University as a first batch MBA student. I still feel I made a good decision. I am thankful to Pokhara University family for my management career including that of teaching. Later, I served as a faculty for a few years at PU. And, at present, I am connected to it in many ways. However, the dream scenario is yet to be attained and I wish it come true soon.
Dr. Chaitanya Raj Adhikari
- First Batch MBA
Chaitanya Raj Adhikari completed his Bachelors in Textile Engineering from Dhaka University, Bangladesh and after pursuing his MBA from SOB(PU), did his masters and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Saga University, Japan. He worked in National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Tsukuba, Japan as post-doctoral researcher for 3 years and returned to Nepal in 2012 AD. He is currently working as Principal at Pokhara College of Management.
After completing my PCL studies in Science, I was searching for the best
place to pursue my further studies in management within Pokhara
Valley. Though SOB (Management Campus) was recently started with
limited resources at Nayabazar, I was guided appropriately from our
respected faculty members and got what I was looking for. With the
very memorable time I had during BBA, I again joined Pokhara
University for MBA. After completing MBA, I have started my
professional career in Banking industry. After my MBA, I was connected
to the university as part time faculty member, visiting faculty for
internship/project work assessment. Always feel great and proud to be
a part of Pokhara University and looking forward to continue the same
warm relation with the university in future.

Dr. Keshab Acharya

Dr. Keshab Acharya is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Organization within the School of Business at Central Connecticut State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). His research papers were selected for the inclusion in the Best Paper Proceeding at the 2019 and 2020 Annual Meetings of the Academy of Management, the oldest and largest scholarly conference in the field of management. He received Best Doctoral Student Paper Award in Careers/Social Issues/Diversity Issues/Ethics Track at the 2018 Southern Management Association (SMA) annual meeting. After the completion of my Bachelor's degree in science, I got involved in business which aroused my interest in the business field. For that, I was seeking the best academic institution for a Master's degree for management study and I found the MBA program of Pokhara University as the best academic destination to fulfill my aspiration of getting a degree in the management field. I regard myself as a lucky person since I got a chance to get enrolled in an MBA program as a first batch student. After the completion of my MBA, I started my professional career in different academic and financial institutions holding different reputed positions. For 12 years, I have been holding a prestigious position of Chief Executive Officer in renowned banks.
