MBA-Jobholder is a general management degree taught from a global perspective that prepares students for a range of management careers. It is a full time, the 32-month program spread over eight trimesters. Students are required to complete 66 credits including 27 courses, 3 practicum and seminars, 8 weeks internship and a Graduate Research Project Report (GRP). The program is designed to meet the needs of working professionals who want to earn an MBA degree. However, it is equally useful for those looking for a challenging graduate business education that features experiential learning opportunities and a strong global focus.

Eligibility for Admission
Anyone having a Bachelors degree or equivalent with 15 years of formal education (12 years of schooling and three years of graduation) in any discipline with minimum 45 percent of the aggregate marks or 2.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average in undergraduate level can apply for admission to MBA. Admission to the program is based on an academic promise of applicants as indicated by their academic records, statement of objectives, recommendations, scores on entrance test and performance in the personal interview and group discussions.
Admission Process
Submission of a complete application form, transcripts of all previous degrees (Bachelor, Certificate / plus two and SLC) and along with payment of admission test fee. Applicants need to attend and pass on Central Admission Test. The test is designed to assess the applicants’ ability in verbal and quantitative reasoning, data interpretation and proficiency in the English language. After the applicants are short-listed on the basis of their score in the written admission test, need to attend an interview. Based on the sum score of written test, interview and academic degree, admission is granted on a merit basis. Enrolment is conditional upon completion of all admission formalities, furnishing required documents, and payments of fees.
Admission opens once a year in August session. Total intake seat is 30 and there is no provision for the scholarship.

The MBA students are required to complete 27 courses, and four practicum and couples of graduate seminars (equivalent to 66 credit hours). Students are required to complete 7 foundation and analytical tool courses (18 credits), 10 core and functional courses (20 credits), 2 capstone courses (6 credits), 4 concentration courses (8 credits), 2 electives (4 credits), and graduate research project, internship, seminars, and other projects (10 credits).
The first trimester is focused on developing the foundation required for learning the core/functional area and integrative courses.

Concentration Areas
Electives
The following courses have been identified for electives. These courses offer students the flexibility to customize their needs and meet their career interests and goals. These are basically sectoral and application courses which address the systematic integration across all of the business disciplines. Hence, a wide range of elective options may be offered by a college/school. A college/school can also develop and offer such sector-focused elective courses with the prior approval of the Subject Committee and the Dean.
Internship Program
Students are required to go for business exposure to assigned organizations for a period of 8 to 10 weeks under the Internship Program. Students are required to present the Internship Project Report in the prescribed format. The evaluation of the Internship shall be based on a confidential report of the host organization (40 percent) and the presentation of the Internship Project Report in a seminar (60 percent).
Graduate Research Project
Towards the end of the study period, students are required to undertake a research assignment and prepare an integrative research report in any areas of management as approved by the school's Graduate Research Project Committee. Students are required to attend the viva-voce examination and give a seminar presentation on their report.
The prominent features of the program are the process of continuous evaluation of a student’s performance and the flexibility to allow the student to progress at a pace suited to his/her individual ability, subject to the regulation of credit requirements. A student’s performance in a course is evaluation internally by the concerned faculty member and externally by the Office of the Controller of Examinations (COE). In each term, the academic performance of the students will be judged through (a) continuous In-term Assessment and (b) End-term Examination.
Internal Evaluations
The mode of evaluation in a given course is decided by the concerned faculty who may assign varying weights to one or more of the evaluation modes and will announce such weights at the beginning of the course. The concerned faculty shall be responsible for the continuous in-term evaluations and will evaluate the academic performance of students in each course offered in any or a combination of:
The in-term evaluation shall have in general a total weight of 60 percent.
End-term Examination
There will be an end-term examination in the courses offered during the term. The end-term examination may be based on problem-solving questions, analytical questions, and case studies or any other formats as demanded by a course.
The first and the last trimester courses shall have a 60% weight on internal ongoing evaluation and a 40% weight on the external examinations. The end-term examinations of the first and the final trimesters shall be conducted by the COE. The college/school shall organize the evaluation of all courses under the close supervision and monitoring by the COE and the Office of the Dean. Detailed instructions to this effect will be issued by the Office of the Dean. The college/institute shall also be responsible for evaluating the Internship Project, graduate seminar, term papers, practicum, and the Graduate Research Project.

Degree Requirements
In order to graduate a student is required to maintain at least a 3.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average. No student can graduate with ‘F’ in any particular course. The maximum time allowed to complete the MBA degree is four years from the date of admission into the Program.

Internal Examination Coordinator looks after the internal examination and evaluation affairs of the respective program.
Internal Evaluation
Masters program follows a continuous evaluation system of the students. Daily classroom activities performed in the college and personal behaviours of the students are closely monitored and keep in the record as a part of the evaluation. A format of internal evaluation comprising the components of different activities and academic performance. Concerned subject teacher is entirely responsible to evaluate the students'; performance and providing marks base on attendance, class participation, homework completion and submission, home assignments, project work, individual and group works, case analysis, presentations and so on. In order to give emphasis to the written examinations, the college conducts regular unit tests, quizzes, mid-term and pre-board examinations. In the undergraduate level, the feedback of the academic performance of the students is also communicated to the guardians and the concerned faculty also provides advice for improvement in the case of slow learners. Even extra classes, tutorials and re-examination provisions are arranged for needy and slow learners. Finally, the students have to appear in the Board Examinations carry out by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Pokhara University.
Internal Examination Cell
The record of internal evaluation is kept by the Internal Examination Cell. A cell has Internal Exam Coordinators and staffs who are responsible for:
