The program was organised by School of Business Pokhara University and School of Mathematical Sciences, Tribhuvan University during 17-22^nd September 2018 in Kathmandu. The objective of the program is to impart the knowledge of faculty on risk management and insurance related subjects, sharing the professional experience, and dialogue between industry and academia.

 The program was initiated by the inaugural session. Prof. Dr. Sudha Tripathee, Rector, Tribhuvan University had  observed the program as a Chief Guest. The program was chaired by Prof. Dr. Prakash Muni Bajracharya. Guest Prof. Fatta Bahadur KC, Mahesh Guragain, Chairman of Nepal Reinsurance Board also gave the well wishes for the success of the program. The program was followed by 23 different technical session during six day. Session were taken by Prof. Dr. Fatta Bahadur KC, Associate Professor Pratik Priyadarshi, BIMTECH, Mr. Uday Adhikari, Mr Maheswhwor Shrestha, Dr. Anil Raj Bhattarai, Mr, Sarthak Karki, Mr. Mahesh K. Guragain, Dr. Mahadev Paudel, Mr. Raj Kumar Aryal, Dr. Bhuwan Paudel, Mr. Dilip Raj Paudel, Mr Sanjeev Subedi.

The program was organised to fill the gap between the required knowledge and available knowledge in the area of insurance and risk management. The program was successfully completed by different perspectives. Participants were satisfied with the trainers, contents of the FDP and the overall environment.
